This is a portfolio demonstration project, not a commercial offering. Mindbase is built by 4mohdisa as a solo project to show how the system works. The “Skysail” workspace inside it is a synthetic demo company— its data is generated, not real. Nothing here is a live service, and no real company’s data is processed.
What this page is
This describes how the Mindbase demonstration handles data. It is written plainly and truthfully. It makes no compliance or certification claims — this is a portfolio project, not a certified commercial service.
What the demonstration collects
Only what is needed to run it. When you sign in — including the one-click “Try the demo” button — the app sets a signed session cookie so it can keep you logged in. Account passwords, where they exist, are stored only as a scrypt hash, never in plain text. The workspace you browse is the seeded Skysail demo company: synthetic, generated data about a company that does not exist.
Model provider keys
If you configure an AI model provider key so the brain can reason with a live model, that key is encrypted at rest and is never logged or returned to the browser. With no key configured, the app runs its deterministic path instead — it never invents an answer to hide a missing key. See the Data & AI note for which providers would process data and when.
The Neuron stays on your device
The Neuron desktop app captures local AI-coding sessions on the machine it runs on. Its private layer — transcripts and private insights — never leaves that device. The sync payload is structurally unable to carry a transcript; only a person’s explicit, promoted summary is ever shared.
What it does not do
The demonstration does not sell data, does not build advertising profiles, and does not process any real company’s private information. The only records inside it are synthetic.
Contact
As a portfolio demonstration by a solo developer, this project does not operate a support or privacy desk. A real deployment would designate a named contact and the applicable legal terms for its jurisdiction; this demonstration does not stand in for those.
